Thanksgiving 2014 Recap

So. Much. Turkey.
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays - a whole day spent with family, eating and watching football. Love it! We had a fairly quiet Thanksgiving this year. Nick was out of town, my brother spent the holiday with his girlfriend in GA and none of our extended family felt like traveling. So, Reid, Puppy Palin and I spent a long weekend with my parents in Cary. We took long walks, enjoyed the fall weather, cooked and baked all day - oh, and ate -- lots! My dad smoked some chicken, turkey and salmon to go with all of the traditional Thanksgiving fixin's - green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce, roast root veggies, potatoes, and apple pie!

The day after Thanksgiving we drove up to see my grandparents in Charlotte. So we had yet another amazing Thanksgiving meal - but more importantly Reid got to spend some quality time with his Greats!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
