Road Trip & Life in NC

Since my last post - lots has changed. We packed up our home in Junction City and are now settling down in Cameron, NC - just outside of Fort Bragg. It was so bittersweet leaving KS -- our friends and customers were so good to us there. We're really going to miss them.

So what have we been doing since June? NOT working in the garage. Mr. ATG was able to take some time off so we could travel and visit family throughout the southeast. We did some serious exploring and junkin - even though we had no where to store the stuff! The joys of being temporarily homeless. We enjoyed the break but were happy to see our new home and get settled in both inside as well as in the garage!

Fortunately we are living smack dab in the middle of furniture heaven. Cameron, NC hows a bi-annual antique fair with over 300+ vendors. You can find more information on the upcoming event here: http://www.antiquesofcameron.com/events.htm. Downtown Fayetteville is packed with thrift stores, antique stores, repurposed furniture stores and architectural salvage stores. Yes please! We are also about an hour from Raleigh, NC which hosts one of the largest Flea Markets in the southeast. We did some serious exploring this summer and I can't wait to share our finds with you!

More to come!
