Transformation Thursday: Week 3

I am so excited to share our latest "Transformation Thursday" project with you! A while back we scooped up two dressers at our local Goodwill. Remember this beauty that we kept for ourselves? As you can see in our previous post, it's now nice and settled in our master bedroom.

Here's his little sister in all her glory hanging out in Goodwill. Poor thing looked like she'd been mauled by a group of hyper toddlers. She was covered in crayon marks and was missing a few drawer pulls. But, she was solid wood (and super heavy) and all the drawers were in great condition. I loved the mdoern look of the middle, curved drawers - so much potential hiding underneath all that green crayon!

One of our Facebook friend, Kristy, quickly scooped her up and decided to transform this once dresser into an additional storage buffet for her small kitchen. We painted the base True White and added a new farmhouse top, which was stained using Minwax's Dark Walnut.

The addition of some new drawer pulls really pulled everything together!

This dresser has come a LONG way from its original state. I can't wait to see it in Kristy's ktichen!

Happy Treasure Hunting,
