March Madness

Happy April Fools Day! Hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Easter weekend. We were pleasently surprised with some beautiful weather this weekend, so we spent our time on long walks, eating dinner on the patio, and working outside!! Yay for no more projects in the middle of the kitchen!!

March has seriously been a whirlwind month for us. Looking back I'm not sure how we got it all done - but we did! Keep those orders and revamps coming!!

Here is a look back at some of our projects in March -

This is complete Queen bed, stained using Golden Oak. This is a new stain from Minwax and our first time using it. Whats the verdict? I personally love it! Let me know what you think.
Custom built TV stand, painted in a semi-gloss black. I love that our dog Palin is photobombing this picture!

Coffee Table - stained using Dark Walnut.

Spring is just around the corner -time for some cornhole. This is a set of custom designed KSU cornhole boards.

We picked these charis up at a thrift store a while back. One of our clients scooped them up. She had 2 chairs painted green and 2 chairs painted blue and paired them with some great bright yellow fabric.

We purchased this antique sewing cabinet from a client last month and finally found some time to revamp it. There was no machine in the cabinet, so we closed up the top and added a new farmhouse style top, stained using Early American. We kept the original hardware and casters and spruced up the base with a few coats of our favorite Tiffany Blue. This was a hot item and it sold in a matter of minutes -- I still can't believe it! We'll definitly we on the look out for other similar pieces.

As usual, I forgot to take the before pictures for a few items - a 6 drawer dresser, a plant stand and a four drawer dresser. All were in great condition, just needed a little love.

If you've been following our blog you probably saw our Reclaimed Coat Racks Galore post. Lots of fun ideas in there too - so be sure to check it out.
Happy Treasure Hunting!
